Fish and Loaves

Read John 6:1-15

1. What makes you feel overwhelmed?

2.   Why do you think Jesus asked the disciples, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat,” if he already knew what he was going to do?

3.   The disciples focused on barriers and limitations. What are some “impossible situations” in your own life where you tend to focus only on what’s lacking?

4.   What stood out to you about the boy offering his small lunch? What do you think his example teaches us about faith?

5.   Where do you see overwhelming needs in our community today? Which ones tend to leave you feeling helpless or paralyzed?

6.  What are some “five loaves and two fish” you already have—small gifts, abilities, resources, or opportunities—that God could use?

7.  Ken said "Jesus invites us “to dream big, take risks, and be a little naïve.”" What might that look like practically in our life as Reunion right now?

8.   What is one step of faith or act of trust you feel challenged to take this week?
